The train has left the station. The NFL has allowed the politicization of the league to take place and there is no going back. And it is sad. Damn politics is destroying everything.
The owners and the league officials are so damn arrogant they don’t think that mulit-millionaire privileged athletes disrespecting the nation and us is a problem. A fatal mistake.
A significant number of my own team sat during the National Anthem and it made me made as hell. They also lost and sadly it didn’t make me feel bad. I almost applauded.
All I want is the league back, but that is futile dream. It’s been a good run. Gratefully we still have college football, but I suppose its days are numbered as well.
