Betrayal

The Republicans just endorsed the fraud and lie that is Obamacare. The Republicans just endorsed and enshrined government run, top-down, iron-fisted health care. The Republicans just trampled our liberty to choose our own doctor and the right to freely negotiate with private businesses on the kind of plan and care we want. The Republicans just assured a government run single payer health care system. The Republicans essentially told us all to go hell with our liberty and free markets.

For seven years GOP lawmakers have been promising the repeal of Obamacare and yesterday proves it was all a big fat lie. We have been betrayed. The Republican Party is a joke, it’s liberal, it’s anti-liberty, and it’s gone. The Republican Party is a party of progressives and socialists.

Here are the Republicans who for the record voted against repeal of Obamacare:

Senator Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn.

Senator Susan Collins, R-Maine

Senator Dean Heller R-Nev.

Senator John McCain, R-Ariz.

Senator Shelley Moore-Capito, R-W.Va.

Senator Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska

Senator Rob Portman, R-Ohio

All seven must be politically destroyed. They must all be removed from office and replaced by a real conservative.

But let’s not fool ourselves, this bill does not fail if the Republican Party and Republican leadership, and yes President Trump, empathically wanted it to succeed.  If the Republican Party with all its leadership wanted to repeal Obamacare it would have happened.

From the President thru the Senate and House leadership, they could have applied enormous pressure and threatened political annihilation upon those who would not repeal Obamacare. But it did not happen. Did you ever hear Mitch McConnell or Donald Trump seriously threaten any of those who voted no? And don’t pretend they didn’t know in advance how they were going to vote. Passage of the Bill failed just as the Republicans wanted.

Socialized medicine is here to stay.  Have a great day.
